“I'm a "recovering perfectionist" who still needs help. :) I've done a lot of work on myself the past 5-6 years, and while I'm very pleased with how far I've come, I still have something affecting my day-to-day life and I'd like to figure out what it is and how to address it. I'm at the point where I know where the "gremlins" come from, but I'm finding that I need some new tools to make my life more livable.
My to do list keeps me up at night - and the things I haven't done that I should have done. And the things that I didn't do "well" or "failed" at. I’m never truly "happy" because I'm always thinking about the next thing that needs to be done, but even when that's done, there's always something else, so I'm thinking about that.
I also want to make some longer-term changes that will take time and require consistent dedication, and I tend to be more of a "work really hard and get it done right now" type of person.
I also worry far too much about other people - how are they doing, are they ok, how can I be of help, and that's exhausting.
So then I try to distance myself from it by playing a game on my iPhone or reading e-books incessantly to escape.
I'm looking for someone who can help me with these goals as, right now, I'm in a holding pattern, which isn't good for my work or family life.”
AFTER
“I can't recommend Kate highly enough. I found Kate through a Google search and after interviewing many potential life coaches, Kate stood apart from the rest.
She had a system for guiding you through your journey, and a three month time-frame to make it happen. (Many of the others just wanted to "talk" about your goals and a plan). I wanted something that worked, and that made me accountable while also exploring and defining my goals for the next phase of my life and career. I also wanted something that would be enjoyable. I wanted this journey to be something that was fun as well as productive. Kate brought all of that and more to my life.
With Kate, I was able to define my areas of strength and weakness, my short and long term goals, and my values. Her system really dives into who YOU are and what YOU want and then, her system plans it out to make it happen.
Since working with Kate, I've found a new job that I love (after being let go from a job I had for 12 years), and I'm happier in my life because I'm actively pursuing goals that matter to me and that align with my values. Best of all, Kate is always there for you when you need her for a quick question or an "atta girl."
I've continued working with Kate because I saw so much positive change in my life. Our sessions keep me on track, and everyone I know says that I'm happier than I ever have been before (I completely agree).
If you're ready to dive into YOU and you're looking for a coach who can help you achieve your dreams, look no further than Kate Peabody at KaptivateMe. You will only regret that you didn't find her sooner!”
