I am so thrilled to be joining General Assembly Denver for the event "Finding your inspiration through creative confidence" as a panel member! From artists and yogis to marketing gurus and manufacturers, this panel has a diverse background of experiences that point to one thing - creativity matters, and everyone has the muscle to flex! I'll be providing a perspective of how powerful purposeful, creative reflection and action is. Whether that's journaling on feels and goals, using user experience tools to gather your thoughts about your own life and dreams, or breaking out all the art supplies to really imagine and connect with yourself on a deeper level than technology can ever provide - creativity will absolutely boost your confidence.
About this event
We don’t need to divide the world into the ‘creatives’ and the ‘non-creatives.’ We are all naturally creative and we should let our ideas fly. Unfortunately, what often holds us back is our fears of judgment and failure as we get older.

Embedded in creativity is uncertainty, risk and emotional exposure - the ingredients of vulnerability. Getting comfortable with the discomfort of vulnerability is the key to living a creative life. In this session, our creative panelists will break down why we fear creativity, and how in doing so it impedes our path to bringing forth the treasures that are hidden inside of us. We will talk through:
Honing in on your idea and streamlining your process
The importance of taking time for yourself so that you can serve others
Good Risks vs. Bad Risks
Aligning yourself with the right people / trusting your gut
